Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov believes that Chechen youth living abroad ruin the image of the republic by dancing the lezginka in public places, RIA Novosti reports.
Kadyrov says that the republic is combating unacceptable occurrences in mentality. Blood feuds and bride kidnappings have been banned. He urged young people to respect the achievements of the republic.
The Chechen leader noted the construction of schools, hospitals, sports centers, resorts and efforts to fight crime.
Grozny held the first All-Russian Congress of Chechen Youth on Wednesday. Participants arrived from 34 Russian regions.
