Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has visited the northern part of the state and the Central District Hospital of Gusar. He noted the development of healthcare in all parts of the district, adding that hospital construction was realized with the help of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR).
Aliyev mentioned economic achievements, the non-petroleum sphere of the economy grew by 10% in 2011. Azerbaijan's financial rating rises on the background of European recession.
The president emphasized freedom of language, religion and nationality in Azerbaijan. Experience in preventing national conflicts in Azerbaijan is studied abroad.
Ilham Aliyev met Jewish officials in the village of Krasnaya Svoboda in the Gubinsky District. They discussed reconstruction of a local historic bridge.
