Yesterday the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Ryabkov, received the US Under-Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Philip Gordon, who was in Moscow on a working visit, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
The diplomats discussed in detail the current issues of bilateral relations.
They also exchanged views on several aspects of the international agenda, including issues of missile defense and CFE.
The US Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, also took part in the meeting, the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
