About 11 thousand rebels trained in a closed militarized zone in northern
Jordan near the Syrian border, will be transported to Syria to conduct
combat operations against the authorities, Interfax informs, referring to
the information portal Al-Bawwab.
Most of the militants arrived in the training camps are from Libya, which has
recently experienced a civil war. The project is most likely sponsored by
Qatar and Saudi Arabia, actively supporting the Syrian opposition, the
portal says.
