Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, a current advisor to the
government of Kazakhstan on political and economic affairs, will soon
submit his recommendations on the implementation of the message of the
President of Kazakhstan, News of Kazakhstan reports, citing the press
service of the Kazakh president.
On Monday, Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Blair in Astana. Blair briefed the
President on the outcome of the work of the expert group. "Our basic goals
are new jobs, affordable housing, industrialization, agricultural
development, infrastructure and local government," Nazarbayev said at the
meeting, his press service informs.
British media reported that Tony Blair was going to work for the Kazakh
authorities in late October 2011. According to some publications, Blair
will earn nearly eight million pounds in one year.
