Ahmadinejad will not participate in Tashkent SCO summit

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who recently arrived in
Dushanbe on an official visit, will not participate in the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tashkent on June 10-11,
Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan Alisgar Sherdust said, RIA Novosti
reports.
The diplomat did not explain the reasons for the decision, but noted
that the Iranian president will leave for Shanghai on Wednesday to
participate in EXPO - 2010.
