Billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili will present his Georgian Dream coalition at the Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel on February 21, his press speaker Maya Pajikidze said in Tbilisi.
Ivanishvili will introduce his political partners, sign a joint declaration. His spokeswoman Pajinikidze has not given details on the process.
Earlier reports said that Ivanishvili’s political coalition will include the Republican Party, Our Georgia Free Democrats of former Georgian representative to the UN Irakly Alasania and the National Forum. The new coalition will include former Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabasvili and his party “Salome Zurabishvili way of Georgia” and Guguli Magradze’s “Party of Women for Justice and Equality”.
Ivanishvili’s political block will be formed by the election process, including the Conservative Party and the People’s Party.
Bidzina Ivanishvili has not been involved in politics for many years. He was busy in charity organizations. The billionaire announced plans to form a party and run for Georgian parliament in October 2011.
Bidzina Ivanishvili’s initiative group presented the Georgian Dream Democratic Georgia on February 15.
