A US aircraft carrier group with flagship Carl Vinson has left the Gulf and entered the Arabian Sea, Interfax reports.
The aircraft carrier entered the Gulf for supplies from the United Arab Emirates. It patrolled the south-eastern coast if Iran and the northern part of the Arabian Sea until entering the Gulf with two other warships.
