Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili has met his Turkish counterpart Idris Naim Sahin in Tbilisi, Trend reports.
The ministers signed a memorandum on cooperation in combating organized crime, drug trafficking and in exchange of information.
The Turkish delegation consisted of the minister, his deputy, heads of gendarmerie, security services and other structures.
Sahin will study Georgian reforms, visit new police stations and the Police Academy. He will also meet Georgian justice minister today.
