Iran is Hamas' major sponsor, the organization's representative Issat al-Reshek told media on Friday.
"Iran is our major sponsor, we wouldn't be able to pay salaries without its support," al-Reshek said
The Hamas government now controls Gaza, despite conflict with the Palestinian National Authority headed by Mahmoud Abbas.
