An official Foreign Ministry source of ATS reports that the authorities in the Syrian city of Homs, representatives of the city's community and municipal ambulances from the Syrian Red Crescent Society, have attempted with humanitarian aims to evacuate the wounded foreign journalists who arrived in the country illegally.
The source added that, despite a few hours of negotiations, the armed opponents of the authorities refused to hand over a wounded French journalist and the two dead bodies of her colleagues in order to return them to their country, the official Syrian news agency SANA reports.
