Kyrgyzstan wants to join the common economic space and is ready to make concessions

Kyrgyzstan would like to restore a single economic space and is ready to join the Eurasian Economic Community, the President of the country Almazbek Atambaev stated, according to ITAR-TASS.

"In fact, the Customs Union has now been transformed into a single economic space,” Atambayev notes in an interview for the radio "Voice of Russia. “We would like to join the common economic space, because, of course, it is impossible to restore the Soviet Union," he says.

"We would like to restore a single economic space. And in this we are strongly determined - the head of Kyrgyzstan says. - We have applied, we are ready to join the EEC, but the decision will be taken by the authorities of three other countries: Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan."
Atambaev stressed the readiness of Kyrgyzstan to make concessions: "On certain points, Kyrgyzstan will request certain preferences, delays. But in general, we are ready to concede."
