Acting President of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev has discussed reconstruction and beautification of Tskhinvali with the government and heads of state unitary enterprises, Res reports.
He told the Tskhinvali Mayor’s Office and the Ministry for Capital, Road Construction and Architecture that multi-storey buildings damaged in August 2008 have not been repaired.
Vadim Gabarayev, head of the operative headquarters for beautification of Tskhinvali, noted that there is no specialized organization for the process. The state needs high-skilled specialists. There is no accommodation for 104 families that would need moving.
Zurab Kabisov, Chairman of the State Committee for Realization of Reconstruction Projects, plans to complete reconstruction of 40 buildings, instead of the planned 48.
