The European Union values the parliamentary and presidential polls in Armenia (2012-2013), according to international standards of democracy, News Armenia cites the EU Council in Brussels as saying.
The EU will monitor the upcoming elections. The European Union urges Armenia to continue reforms to improve democratic institutions, independence of the judicial system, promotion of political pluralism, freedom and equal access to media, human rights.
