The Armenian parliament has voted against the 100% proportional electoral system, PanARMENIAN.Net reports.
30 voted for and 56 against. Heritage and Dashnaktsutyun spoke out against the majority system on December 27, 2011. The Armenian National Congress is opposed to the initiative too.
Prosperous Armenia, Dashnaktsutyun and Heritage requested parliamentary hearings on proportional elections on January 26.
