Blast at office of ruling party in Istanbul

 

10 police officers have been injured in a blast at the regional office of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey in Istanbul this morning, RIA Novosti cites the local Security Chief Hussein Capkyn as saying.

Capkyn said that police officers were slightly injured and hospitalized. He believes that the blast was caused by a remote controlled bomb.

Media say that a bomb was planted in a motorbike parked near a police bus. Not a single radical organization has taken responsibility for the incident.
