Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that only voters can determine their country’s fate and urged them to vote on March 4, RIA Novosti reports.
Presidential polls will be held in Russia on March 4.
Medvedev said that the current electoral campaign was held in an atmosphere of high activity and shows that the society has become more mature and has clear demands for the government. He reminded that the message for the Federal Assembly allows citizens to be more active in administrating the country.
Medvedev emphasized that a president’s work is complicated and very responsible. The newly elected president will need to continue economic development, make life more prosperous, improve defenses and security and make the state more authoritative. He added that faith and support of citizens is essential for a president.
