Murder of advisor of Karachay-Cherkessia’s leader solved

The police in Karachay-Cherkessia have detained two people suspected of murdering Fral Shebzukhov, advisor of former head of the republic, Yuga.ru reports.

Three assailants attacked Shebzukhov with baseball bats in Cherkessk on the night of May 12, 2010. The official tried to escape but was shot and died at the scene.

SHebzukhov was one of the two advisors of President of Karachay-Cherkessia Boris Ebzeyev for over a year. He was supervising the economic sphere and was candidate for prime minister of Karachay-Cherkessia.

A criminal case was initiated for murder and illegal arms trafficking.

Magomet Jubuyev, Alik Totorkulov and Nazim Kusheterov from Cherkessk were detained on March 1, 2012. They have been questioned. The investigation continues.
