Militant leader Tsyzdoyev planned terrorist attack at presidential polls

Alexander Khloponin, Russian Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, said that militant leader Adam Tsyzdoyev planned a terrorist attack on March 4, Interfax reports.

The police eliminated a militant group before the elections started. No other threats were found.

The National Counter-Terrorism Committee reported that an Ingush militant leader Adam Tsyzdoyev was killed in Malgobek (Ingushetia) in a special operation of the FSB.
