Official visit of president of Georgia to Azerbaijan begins tomorrow

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will pay an official visit to
Azerbaijan. On Wednesday, March 7, the president of Georgia will give
a speech at the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, News
Azerbaijan reports with reference to the Georgian Embassy in Baku.

During the visit, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and
Mikheil Saakashvili will sign a number of documents. The Heads of
State will make a statement to the media.

The participants of the meetings will discuss the deepening and
strengthening of bilateral relations, regional cooperation and other
issues.

Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners. Countries have realized
major energy and transport projects, including the
Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas and the
Baku-Tbilisi-Kars pipelines.
