Ahmadinejad congratulates Putin on victory

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential elections in Russia and stressed Tehran's commitment to the development of relations between the two countries, RIA-Novosti reports referring to the website of the Iranian government.
The agency reports that the Iranian president also called for further "development of good relations" between Moscow and Tehran.
