Georgian president arrives in Azerbaijan

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was today given an official welcome to Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

A guard of honour was lined up for the Georgian President at a square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.

President Mikheil Saakashvili was welcomed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The heads of state inspected a ceremonial guard of honour as an orchestra played the national anthems of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Mikheil Saakashvili, while members of the Georgian delegation were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev.
