Turnout in the March 4th presidential elections in Ingushetia was about 90 per cent. According to the republic's president, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, the results of the polls show that the Ingush people are cohesive and prudent.
The Ingush people support Vladimir Putin because they see positive changes in the republic's economy and social sphere.
"The Ingush people feel themselves Russian citizens, they are interested in both the future of the republic and the future of Russia in general," Yevkurov said.
