Azerbaijani president meets Georgian counterpart

Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia have met in private today, Trend informs.

During the meeting the presidents expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in a variety of fields.

The presidents stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits. They added that these visits contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation even more.

The two leaders expressed confidence that relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia would continue to develop.

They also discussed bilateral, regional and international issues.
