Rovshan Aliyev, head of the section for organization and information support of the Corruption Control Department of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office, attended the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) meeting in Istanbul, where Azerbaijan is a member of the working group for studying transnational crime in the region in 2011, Trend reports.
New information on corruption was presented to BSEC members, especially its organized forms. Views were exchanged on statistical information on organized crime.
Rovshan Aliyev’s report on legislative and institutional reforms to combat crime in Azerbaijan provoked great interest of other BSEC states.
