Armenia calls for diplomatic solution to Iranian issue

Yerevan believes that all controversial issues over the Iranian
nuclear program should be solved through negotiations, the
press-secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Tigran Balayan,
said, commenting on the new United Nation's Security Council
resolution on Iran, RIA Novosti reports.

The document was passed due to Iran's refusal to stop uranium
enrichment. 12 Security Council members voted for sanctions, while
Turkey and Brazil voted against. Lebanon abstained. This is the fourth
Security Council resolution on Iran.
