Russia's CEC announces final results of presidential elections

The Russian Central Electoral Commission has announced the final results of the March 4th presidential elections.

Incumbent Prime Minister Vladimir Putin won the first ballot, receiving 63.6 per cent of the votes cast, the CEC says.

The results of the polls are questioned by both opposition and international observers. According to the PACE and the OSCE, fraud was registered at least at 30 per cent of polling stations.
