Syrian Ministry of Information accuses foreign media correspondents of illegally entering the country

Syrian Information Ministry issued a statement that some of the correspondents of Arab and foreign media illegally, without accreditation, have entered Syrian territory, SANA reports.

In this statement the ministry stresses that representatives of the TV channels leading the anti-Syrian campaign are moving across the country, accompanied by members of terrorist gangs, and covering their actions. This can be considered journalists' participation in terrorist activities, which entails punishment in accordance with Syrian law.

The Ministry laid entire responsibility for the safety of their employees who illegally enter the territory of Syria with the media.

The statement also mentions that since the beginning of the Syrian events the Ministry permitted the arrival to the country of more than 365 Arab and foreign media agencies.
