Stolen Turkish gold found in Georgia

Georgian police have found gold stolen in the Turkish city of Ordu, News Georgia cites Soso Topuridze, Deputy Chief of the Department for Constitutional Security Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry as saying.

Vakhtang Purtseladze, a criminal mastermind, was arrested. The police are searching for other people involved in the theft.

Georgian citizens stole jewellery weighing a total of 6 kg and worth $1 million from a trade center in Ordu. The thieves entered the center through an 8-meter tunnel they were digging from a toilet in a nearby building. A camera recorded the theft. The police found Georgian cigarettes at the crime scene.
