Armenia has started the campaign for introduction of candidates for parliament according to the proportional and majority electoral systems, NEWS.am reports.
The process will continue until March 22, by which date all political parties and blocs willing to take part in the parliamentary polls of May 6 need to present proportional lists and all necessary documents to the Central Electoral Commission.
The Republican Party, Prosperous Armenia and Orinats Yerkir and such opposition parties as the Armenian National Congress, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun, Heritage, Free Democrats, Communist Party will take part.
The Armenian parliament of the fifth calling will have 90 members elected according to the proportional system and 41 according to the majority system.
