Croatian President Ivo Josipovic met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku today, Trend reports.
The sides discussed economic cooperation, investments, development of bilateral ties, Azerbaijan’s role in the Caspian Sea. Josipovic expressed hope that they will improve ties. He noted that South-Eastern Europe and Caucasus have good opportunities for cooperation, basing on mutual understanding.
The presidents signed three documents: a memorandum of understanding between the Azerbaijani and Croatian government on cooperation in mine clearing, an agreement on visa-free regime for officials with diplomatic and business passports and an agreement on lifting double taxation and prevention of tax evasion.
