Magomed-Sultan Magomedov, President of the Anzhi FC of Makhachkala, has become a member of the Russian parliament, ITAR-TASS reports.
Dagestani leader Magomedsalam Magomedov was to receive a mandate on March 1. But he rejected it and passed to the Anzhi president, following him in the list of the United Russia Party.
Magomed-Sultan Magomedov has been working in petroleum industry since 1975. Magomedov was Director General of Dagnefteproduct in 1991-2005. Then he became the head of Dagnefteproduct in 2005. Magomedov formed the Anzhi FC in 1991 he has been supervising ever since. He became a member of the Dagestani parliament four times, becoming its chairman in 2011.
