Georgian president meets German foreign minister

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle discussed a wide range of Georgian-German relations in Tbilisi on Thursday, Trend informs.

During the meetings Westerwelle appreciated the social, economic, political and institutional reforms carried out in Georgia.

Saakashvili and Westerwelle also highlighted the cooperation between Georgia and Germany in a multilateral format.

Saakashvili briefed the minister on the situation in the occupied territories.
