Putin announces 7 days off in May

Russian Prime Minister and President-elect Vladimir Putin, who has been running the country since 2000, announced that he has decided to order 7 days off at the beginning of May, RIA Novosti reports.

The populist move follows Putin's victory at the March 4 presidential elections, which are questioned by the opposition, with international observers saying that violations were registered at 30 per cent of polling stations.
