Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said at a meeting with Foreign Minister of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud al-Zahar that Iran will continue supporting Hamas, ITAR-TASS reports.
One of the main topics of their conversation was escalation of conflict on the border of the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Mahmoud al-Zahar arrived in Iran on Wednesday and met Said Jalili, Chief of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, and Ali Larijani, Chairman of Parliament.
Israel accuses Iran of providing Palestinian extremists with weapons and Fajr missiles used to bomb Israeli cities.
