UN to spend $6 million on forest planting in Azerbaijan

The UN Development Program (UNDP) will sign an agreement on environmental protection in Azerbaijan, ABC reports.

Fikret Akchura, coordinating resident of the UN in Azerbaijan, said that the project is worth $6 million. It involves planting trees in the Caucasus Mountains. The agreement will be part of the work set by the document on prevention of floods in the Greater Caucasus.
