Dmitry Medoyev, a candidate for president of South Ossetia, reported to the Interior Ministry on March 16 that he was being threatened.
Threats started after his speech on public television on March 13, when he talked about attempts to provoke a social schism, false information to pressurize the CEC and the Supreme Court and ruin elections on March 25. Medoyev said that he is trying to achieve resignation of Prosecutor General Taymuraz Khugayev.
