Russian PM and former Armenian leader meet in Moscow

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who won the presidential polls on March 4, met second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan.

The sides discussed pre-electoral situation in Armenia, new stage of negotiations to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and problems in South Caucasus.

Victor Sogomonyan, press secretary of Kocharyan, said that he does not know where media got information about a closed-door conversation between the two officials. He added that even he knows nothing about their discussions, Armenia Today reports.
