Russian President Dmitry Medvedev calls for discussing the EurAsEC reorganisation, ITAR-TASS reports.
“The key point of the agenda is to implement the agreements of the previous summit of December 19, 2011 on the EurAsEC reorganisation,” President Medvedev said at the body's meeting.
“When discussions on this issue began, there were opinions to wind up the EurAsEC,” he added. At the same time, he said the summiteers agreed that decisions “should be taken in a civilised way”. Thus, the Eurasian Economic Commission has started working in February, the Russian president added.
“At today’s meeting we will discuss the development of integration processes on the post-Soviet space,” Medvedev said.
