Farmers of Stavropol Territory to buy fuel cheaper

The Russian government has decided to provide benefits for farmers in purchasing diesel fuel. A discount of 30% will be offered according to wholesale prices set on December 30, 2011. It costs about 19,635 rubles per ton in the Stavropol Territory, Yuga.ru reports.

The fuel quota for Stavropol Territory in March-June will be 56,950 tons, exceeding the purchases last year by 10%.

Over 800 farmers purchased fuel at discounts. Over 600 enterprises were bidding for purchases in 2012. Over 500 tons of fuel have been chosen. Two oil companies provide fuel.

Farmers will receive 11,410 tons of diesel fuel in March at a 30% discount, 13,650 tons in April, 15,510 tons in May, 16,380 tons in June.
