The Kazakh government has passed a decree on limiting fishing to fulfill the law on protection of sea animals, Trend reports.
The decree is to reduce anthropogenic impact on fishing economies, preserve population of sea animals and held increase their population.
Fishing will be reduced by 68,200 tons. Terms of bans on fishing at certain areas were changed.
The ban at the Balkhash Lake was prolonged by 15 days lasting from April 15 to June 1, the Kapshagay Water reservoir from April 5 to May 20, Lake Zaysan and some areas of the Bukhtarminsk Water Reservoir from April 16 to May 30, deep part of the Bukhtarminsk Water Reservoir from May 1 to June 15, at River Ural was prolonged by 30 days lasting from April 25 to August 15.
