Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Iran next week to hold talks with Iranian officials, the premier’s office has announced, Hurriyet Daily News reports.
The office said in a statement that the visit will take place on March 28 and 29.
During his two-day state visit to Tehran, Erdogan will confer with senior Iranian officials on matters of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments.
He will also inaugurate a new Turkish cultural center in Tehran.
Erdogan will head to Iran after attending the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit in South Korea on March 26-27.
