Georgian authorities have issued 85,000 laris for topography and clearance of territory for the Laziki Resort, located between the resorts of Anaklia and Kulevi, Business Georgia reports.
Anaklia-Ganmukhuri Resorts will receive the funds.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili proposed construction of the Laziki Resort during the visit to Zugdidi in December 2011. The new city will become the main trade, economic and business center and become the second largest city of Georgia in 10 years with 500,000 inhabitants.
