Over 40 Russian observers will monitor elections in South Ossetia, ITAR-TASS cites CEC head Bella Pliyeva as saying.
Observers were invited from the Russian parliament, Federation Council, Central Electoral Commission, Free Elections Fund. Over 50 Russian journalists will observe the process.
Pliyeva said that they put stamps into passports of voters to avoid frauds in November 2011. The stamp for the first round had a round form, for the second round it was square. Stamps for elections on March 25 will be triangular.
South Ossetia has high vote activity. No complaints have been received so far.
