"Al Qaeda" has confirmed its connection with "Toulouse gunman"

On Thursday, the terrorist organization "Al Qaeda" admitted that Mohammed Mehra, the eliminated killer of seven people including children, to be its member. Responsibility for the crimes of the "Toulouse gunman" has been taken by the division "Host of the Caliphate," NEWS.ru reports, referring to the newspaper Le Figaro.

The group also issued a statement calling the eliminated criminal "a knight of Islam" and "Yusuf the French." The terrorists describe the aim of the killings as a call for a revision of French policy towards Muslims and to stop hostility towards Islam.

On March the 11th and 15th, a 23-year-old Frenchman of Arab descent, Mohammed Mehra, shot a soldier in civilian clothes in Toulouse, and two soldiers in uniform in Montauban, 50 km from Toulouse. On March 19 he launched an attack on a Jewish school in Toulouse, where he shot a 30-year-old teacher, a rabbi, his 5 and 4 year-old sons and the 7-year-old daughter of the school's director. A 17-year-old teenager was severely injured. During the raid on the house where he was staying, which lasted 32 hours, Mehra was killed, while six policemen were injured.
