Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received the award Man of the Decade from the Slovenian Institute for the Middle East and Balkan Studies, TRT reports.
Erdogan was awarded at the 10th anniversary of foundation of the institute. The award will be handed out later.
The institute noted such dignified figures as Chairman of the Slovenian Constitutional Court Ernest Petric, former Serbian Prime MinisterZoran Zhivkovich, member of the European Parliament Yelko Kacin and Bosnian officer for the Hague Tribunal Amir Ahmic. Premiums were awarded by former Croatian President Stepan Mesic.
