Former Turkish Chief of General Staff Ilker Bashbug has refused to answer the court's questions and rejected protection, Trend reports.
Bashbug is being under trial for discrediting the Justice and Development Party. He was detained on January 6.
General Bashbug resigned in 2010. He is among the Ergenekon group suspected of planning a coup.
