Syria has approved the plan of Kofi Annan, special representative of the UN and Arab League, to settle the conflict, RIA Novosti reports.
The UN Security Council approved Annan's support on March 21. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and opposition were urged to follow the plan. The document provides humanitarian aid for Syria.
