Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on a two-day visit to Iran and will meet President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. They will discuss the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in Syria and Iraq.
Erdogan is expected to be persuading Iran to stop supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
