The police of Dagestan have planted 17 fake bombs to check the reaction of the local population and no reaction followed, Interior Minister Abdurashid Magomedov said, RIA Novosti reports.
Makhachkala Mayor Said Amirov held a session of the Association of the Council of Municipal Formations of Dagestan. He said that a car with 400 kg of ammonia nitrate was neglected by the population too.
Amirov urged heads of cities and districts to cooperate with the law enforcers more actively.
